First and foremost are you a hound person or horse person? Or do they both mean as much to you?
I am neither, but I used to hunt pigs and deer in New Zealand, and I like to think people should be able to hunt what they like and where they like. British hunting seems to have a great culture to it.

I like most of all to hunt though, only if I'm going to eat the beast. Do they eat foxes in England?

When boar hunting in France once, we broke for a picnic and some of the French hunters produced some 'fox' pate 'pour les anglaises'! Of course, contrary to what they expected I got tucked in and said how wonderful it was.
Actually, it tasted like shit and probably was fox, but my British stiff upper lip prevented me from expressing displeasure.

Welcome Steve, and no we don't eat foxes. Hounds might, however! I visited NZ for the first time earlier this year but I fished rather than shot. Great bar, the Antler Bar in Haast (s.Island). If I shot, NZ would be somewhere I'd love to try out. Can't wait to go back!
