Just come back from 3 days hunting. 2"days VWH and one with The Beaufort very nice indeed. Bit different to up here. The Beaufort are visiting(Derwent and Middleton) at the end of march so will be out again then. How are things with you?? Still looking for the photo will get it on here asap. You look soooo young!!!!

Phemie retired in 2003 and still keeps hounds and the bloodlines going. I became Joint Master of the newly merged Trinity Foot and South Herts beagles in 2003 but still keep in touch with Phemie; she lets us hunt the Easters/Mashbury country to keep the tradition going. I met George Swift on the river in Ireland last year and he still sees Bob Street. You're with the Santa Ynez aren't you? Must be a different world from East Anglia!

He is going over for Cheltenham but they will be finished by then, no doubt he will be spending lots of time at the kennels though

Glad hunting going well, miss proper hunting and not been able to get over to Ireland this time. Have to get out with the terriers and sort some rats out instead!
