Supporting Dogged Resistance

Ok so, apparently this page is dead. I for one do not agree with that. We're just all reading people rather than writing people.

BUT

Who has had their Hunt Ball yet? The Jedforest had theirs last night and it was fantastic fun. Highlights would be helium balloons on the ceiling, making the wine glass 'sing', dancing with all the girlies, PHOTOS (which had better not end up on Facebook) and just the general random funniness that accompanies drinking too many Blue WKDs.

Despite them having to push the last few tickets at the Point-to-Point, it was still sold out, which in the current climate was a great thing to see. Great work guys!!

Our 'Hunt Ball' is on next sunday after hunting at the pub where we meet which has the best pint of stout around, copious amounts of alcohol some of it free and sing song for the evening, not looking forward to monday morning though.

Ive never been to a Hunt Ball,i dont know anyone to tag along with as the people i know would'nt be interested and i dont fancy going on my own like a Billy No Mates....

Ours always has an unofficial pre-event meeting in the nearby pub for a few social drinks and to meet up with friends etc. At these things people are always really friendly (unless they're seriously spacktarded) and will chat to everyone.
